Doesn’t it seem every skincare brand is coming out with an eye cream lately? Well, beloved Toronto brand Wildcraft has joined the club and we’re not mad at it. It has cucumber hydrosol which is interesting and is 15% off right now on their website. They offered their Bio-Retinol (see product #2) for 15% off when it first came out which is what influenced my buy. I admire a brand putting a new product on sale. Currently I’m using this (also new) eye cream from Three Ships and have actually noticed a difference! Yes, you read that correctly. This bundle from Three Ships (SIDE NOTE: SO MANY BRANDS ARE DOING BUNDLES NOW) is a good buy if you’re looking for hydration and *potential* under eye brightening. I've tried the under eye masks, not 100% sure they made a substantial difference other than feeling nice after a late night but their eye cream is 10/10. It sits nicely underneath makeup and doesn’t flake at all.
Speaking of Wildcraft, theirs is the first Bio-Retinol (click here to learn more about Bio-Retinol) serum I’ve tried. After applying once a day for the past 3 months the bottle still has product left which is surprising because it’s so tiny. I’ve never tried retinol or committed to incorporating any type of serum into my routine but I am committed using this as the first step in my evening routine, followed by Three Ships face cream and Living Libations Best Skin Ever oil. Use one pump of the serum and apply a light layer to the face and neck right after cleansing!
After only using cream bronzer formulas (19/99 Beauty Cream Contour Stick in the shade “tea” has become an absolute staple) for the past little while, I splurged on this new bronzer from RMS and it did NOT disappoint! I love how it layers on top of a cream bronzer (it’s nice on it’s own, I’m just extra like that) and that it can be used on the eyes! Using the same colour for contour and eye shadow creates a fresh, seamless look.
Are hair masks worth it? Honestly the answer to that is still up in the air BUT this mask is thick, creamy and has great reviews from curly haired people like Harling Ross. I am not sold on the mask but look how stunning her hair is in this photo. Innersense is not cheap and there are SO many hair masks on the market. Although it has an interesting scent and is full of hair-healthy ingredients like coconut oil and stinging nettle, I was not in love with LL’s Honey Myrtle Hair Mask either. DIY’s are great for hair and face masks, check out this list of DIYS from Byrdie for ideas. I’ll never give up on searching for hair products that do what they say they will, so stay tuned.
Overwhelmed about how many products there are out there?

This Seabuckthorn Styling Serum worked well to smooth frizz and did leave my hair softer the next day! Living Libations had a sitewide sale (they always have specials on their website) so I tried the serum and rebought their iconic Ozonated Zippity Dew Dab because it’s an amazing spot treatment. Living Libation’s ability to make plant powered products smell SO interesting is forever mind-blowing. Only complaint is how small the serum bottle is but LL products seem to always last a long time despite looking small! #SmallButMighty
